Final days in Gaspe to Miramichi.

Sept 6 to 8, 2018

We left Griffon camping in Gaspé by 11 am on our way to Campbellton NB for an overnight stop befor continuing on. A very nice campground that has only been open for 3 years now so not much for trees yet. The nice riverfront sites have a 4 degree slope which makes levelling not easy. For one night we did not complain. We walked around town in the morning on our way to pickup some groceries and found it to be a charming little town where we could have spent an extra day visiting.

Next stop was Miramichi where we met up with fellow full timers Mike and Kelley that we met last October in  Chilliwack on their travels west then south for the winter. They graciously invited us to spend the night on their family property which in turn allowed us to spend a wonderful evening and morning catching up on stories and adventures. We had a great time and so look forward to meeting up in Arizona after our Florida trip.

Somehow pictures taken on this portion did not turn out so a few pics of our last few days in Gaspé region.

One of many lighthouses in the Gaspe region.

Our dogs Luna and Sista enjoying the water.

Luna jumping for water, she absolutely loves water.

Penouille beach was gorgeous and we had the whole beach to ourselves. The sun was shining and weather was perfect.

Beautiful sandy beach stretches for 2 Km.

Memorial we stumbled upon for an Irish shipwreck that killed all onboard. The bell was found almost 140 years later by a diver. Beautiful and touching site.

One of the many cruise ships we saw in the bay during our week stay.
