Arizona Trip, May 4th to 23rd 2017

Well we are back from an amazing trip to Arizona started out on May 4th 2017. On our way we hit rain storm after rain storm all the way down to Mountain Home, Idaho. Parked for an overnight stay at the Walmart and it looked like the rain was going to stop. While inside and all of a sudden the noise was incredible as pounding rain had started again. Our motorhome was 200 feet from front entrance so we made a run for it and got soaked, never seen that much rain in such a short time.

California Trip April 29 to May 15 2016

Hello and welcome to those who chose to read and hopefully follow our blog.


Our first post is about our annual vacation we take every May. Yes it is mid October and May was such a long time ago but we had such a great time we thought we would start there.


We had a wonderful trip leaving from Chilliwack B.C. travelling south on I-5 hoping to make San Francisco by Sunday, we had made reservations at Half Moon Bay State Beach but not until Monday but what the heck maybe we could be lucky and they have an open site.

We arrived in Half Moon Bay at 7:00 PM after taking a wrong turn in San Francisco, pretty scary with a 40 foot motorhome and our toad behind.
Yes luck was with us, we checked with campground host and they had a wonderful spot on the beach side until our site was ready on Monday.
This was our base for the next 3 days visiting San Francisco and area.
